| Website Design Constraints The
following design constraints were applied to the design of this site (should you be
interested)
- It must be low-maintenance
- It must be extremely low-cost, including the use of any free hosting available
- It must be simple and lightweight
- There will not be extensive documentation within the site itself
- It must not use large images by default but they can be loaded via an optional link
- It must be portable with minimum amounts of re-engineering
- It must not use Wordpress or any other bloated platform
- It must have no scripting or SQL dependencies
- It must be capable of being edited in Notepad++ or a very simple web editor such as
legacy Seamonkey or FrontPage
- Downloads should be direct links and not via annoying counters or popups
- It need not support mobiles devices. I offer only PC applications, not mobile apps
- It cannot include forms as there is no convienient access to them
- It will not support embedded search as the host platform can't offer it
- I must be able to simulate and test the site locally before replication
- It must use Comic Sans MS font because I delight in the fact that it irritates
nitpickers and "Type A" personalities
